About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our interdisciplinary treatment team at Westborough Behavioral Healthcare Hospital. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic recreational and activity services to patients with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and conduct group therapy sessions to promote patient engagement and rehabilitation.
  • Assess patient needs and provide individualized recommendations to the treatment team.
  • Document clinical data and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in inventory management and supply ordering.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in occupational therapy from an AOTA-accredited program.
  • Current licensure by the Board of Allied Health Professionals, Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • American Occupational Therapy Association membership preferred.
  • IRF and/or LTACH experience preferred.
  • Current Certification in BLS of Adult, Child, and Infant.
  • 2-3 years of inpatient/outpatient psychiatric/substance use experience.
