Highly Skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator for CVICU

About the Role
As a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator for CVICU, you will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during your designated shift.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to optimize efficient throughput and enhance the overall patient experience.
- Participate in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating closely with other members of the management team to drive continuous improvement.
- Promote a culture of teamwork by working collaboratively with subject matter experts and other managers to achieve improved outcomes and service excellence.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
- Operationalize current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives, to enhance engagement and productivity.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, implementing effective development plans to ensure a competitively better organization.
- Manage staff scheduling, overseeing all practical aspects of labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Ensure proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment, promoting efficiency and minimizing waste.
About You
To excel in this role, you will require:
- BLS certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- A registered nurse degree (Associate Degree or Registered Nurse Diploma).
