Psychologist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Psychologist to join our team at The Columbus Organization. As a leading national provider of healthcare professionals, we are dedicated to serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental, and behavioral health challenges.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide psychological services to consumers following established standards and procedures. This includes performing assessments, developing behavioral strategies, and providing on-site direct care and training. The Psychologist will also participate in Inter-Disciplinary Team (IDT) meetings and be a mandated reporter of observed or suspected abuse or neglect.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with consumers, community providers, and Regional Center representatives to meet crisis referrals.
  • Review STAR CAST referral information and complete assessments.
  • Provide on-site, video-conference, or telephone support assessment and support.
  • Attend Planning Conferences and assist in monitoring and certifying STAR staff for Registered Behavior Technician certificates.
  • Develop long-range goals, skill tasks, behavioral objectives, and plans to enhance individual needs.
  • Maintain long-term graphs for those receiving restrictive interventions.
Requirements
  • Possession of a valid license as a Psychologist issued by the California Board of Psychology.
  • Earned Doctorate Degree in Psychology from an educational institution.
