Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a 13-week contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine imaging and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures using various modalities, including PET, SPECT, and planar imaging
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Develop and implement imaging protocols to optimize patient outcomes and reduce radiation exposure
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or Registered Technologist (RT) in nuclear medicine
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine imaging
  • Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine principles, instrumentation, and imaging protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
