Warehouse Material Handler

The Material Handler is tasked with the management of incoming goods and merchandise, overseeing the storage and inventory of all raw materials, and preparing components for distribution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive all incoming raw materials and packages from carriers
• Verify received materials against purchase orders
• Conduct inspections of raw materials and issue RIR tags; request further inspection when necessary
• Utilize fork trucks and/or manual carts to transport materials to designated areas
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records
• Operate cutting equipment as required
• Manage move tickets for raw materials
• Manually clean manufactured components by lifting items into a basket, immersing in solvent, rinsing, and using air hoses to remove excess residue
• Package components for shipment as directed
• Transport materials using fork trucks to appropriate locations
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance on priority items for daily evaluation

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting
• Forklift operation experience and certification preferred
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English, including interpreting documents and instructions in various formats
