Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop project schedules
  • Prepare and submit bids and proposals to clients
  • Monitor and track project costs to ensure they remain within budget
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in estimating for ground-up construction projects in the light industrial sector
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations
  • Proficiency with estimating software (e.g. Bluebeam, PlanSwift)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
