About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Engineer to join our team at Texas Instruments. As an Equipment Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and select equipment that meets our manufacturing needs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal performance.
  • Oversee the installation, modification, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues from equipment manufacturers, ensuring that our equipment is always running at peak performance.
  • Analyze equipment performance and reliability, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to increase uptime and reduce equipment-related issues.
  • Provide technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations, ensuring that our equipment is always running smoothly.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules, ensuring that our equipment is always in top condition.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer or similar role.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with AMAT (Prime and Opta) and/or Ebara CMP, prior experience with CMP, Wets, tool monitoring and interdiction software, and equipment maintenance and documentation.
