Strategic Advisor

The Brookhaven Lab is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Advisor to serve as an advisor to the Laboratory Director and a member of the laboratory Senior Leadership Team. This key role will be responsible for ensuring the attainment of strategic and tactical lab-wide priorities and commitments.

• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Laboratory Director and Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve lab-wide priorities.
• Advisory Role: Provide expert advice to the Laboratory Director on key issues and initiatives, ensuring alignment with lab-wide goals and objectives.
• Communication: Facilitate effective communication between the Laboratory Director and various stakeholders, including senior leadership, staff, and external partners.
• Project Management: Oversee the daily operations of the Laboratory Director's Office, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and effective management of projects.
• Relationship Building: Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, staff, and external partners.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 4 years of demonstrated management/leadership experience.
• Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
