Job Description

As a Speech Language Pathologist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating patients to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders through clinical assessments, standardized tests, and patient interviews.
  • Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings, setting measurable goals to address patients' specific needs.
  • Providing therapy to improve patients' communication skills, including articulation, language comprehension, voice modulation, and fluency, as well as swallowing and feeding abilities.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • A current, valid state SLP licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
