Position Summary

The Automotive Service Technician plays a crucial role in executing vehicle repairs and maintenance according to dealership and manufacturer specifications. This position also includes overseeing apprentice technicians to ensure quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and review repair orders before proceeding to the service area
  • Perform repairs with efficiency and precision in accordance with established standards
  • Identify vehicle issues and carry out necessary repair work
  • Collaborate with the parts department to secure needed components
  • Maintain documentation of completed work and any additional safety or service requirements
  • Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean and well-maintained during service
Required Qualifications
  • Strong customer satisfaction ratings are essential
  • ASE certification or equivalent manufacturer training is preferred
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory
  • Excellent manual dexterity and sound judgment are required
  • Adherence to all safety regulations and company policies is expected
