Job Summary

Modivcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide non-clinical personal care and support services to our clients in their homes and communities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enabling our clients to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene maintenance
  • Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and laundry
  • Transport clients to appointments and activities, as requested
  • Support clients in completing activities of daily living, such as eating, medication adherence, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment
  • Contribute to a client's quality of life by influencing patient safety, good hygiene, healthy eating, medication adherence, and happiness
Requirements
  • Desire to contribute to the well-being and quality of life of our clients
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to identify and escalate unsafe or inappropriate home and community conditions
  • Ability to escalate life-threatening emergency situations calmly and appropriately
