Job SummaryModivcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide non-clinical personal care and support services to our clients in their homes and communities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enabling our clients to maintain their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care to clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene maintenance
- Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and laundry
- Transport clients to appointments and activities, as requested
- Support clients in completing activities of daily living, such as eating, medication adherence, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment
- Contribute to a client's quality of life by influencing patient safety, good hygiene, healthy eating, medication adherence, and happiness
- Desire to contribute to the well-being and quality of life of our clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to identify and escalate unsafe or inappropriate home and community conditions
- Ability to escalate life-threatening emergency situations calmly and appropriately
