Position Summary

The University of New Mexico-Gallup Branch is looking for temporary part-time faculty to teach various mathematics courses, including but not limited to:
  • Pre-Algebra
  • Introduction to Algebra
  • Intermediate Algebra
  • College Algebra
  • Mathematics for Teachers
  • Trigonometry
  • Calculus I, II, III
  • Introduction to Statistics

Instructors will be responsible for all aspects of course delivery, including content presentation, assignment creation, grading, and student assessment. Classes may be scheduled during evenings or weekends, depending on student needs.

Compensation
Adjunct faculty compensation is based on academic credentials and credit hour course loads.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • A master's degree in another discipline with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Mathematics.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PhD, ABD, or EdD in Mathematics or Mathematics Education.
  • Experience teaching at the community college level.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
