POSITION SUMMARY:

The Adventure Climbing Facilitator is tasked with overseeing all facets of the guest climbing experience. This role involves assisting guests and climbers throughout their visit to the Climbing & Adventure facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Warmly welcome guests and deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere for all visitors.
  • Understand and enforce facility policies and procedures.
  • Manage check-in processes and handle payment transactions.
  • Assign barcode key tags to new monthly members.
  • Track memberships and family units within the management system.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of pricing, events, equipment, and climbing structures.
  • Complete daily tasks as directed by management before, during, and after shifts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to engage with a diverse age range from preschool to adult.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficient in using computers, barcode scanners, webcams, and online waivers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to maintain focus in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Exceptional guest service skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Adept at multitasking and prioritizing tasks.
  • Ability to remain composed in challenging situations.
  • Respectful and friendly demeanor towards athletes, guests, and team members.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Proactive in contributing to team and facility improvements.
  • Committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of others.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Proficiency with climbing equipment and safety procedures.
  • Capability to manually belay in emergencies.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds to waist height.
  • Adherence to uniform standards.
  • Exposure to intermittent noise levels within the facility.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Prior climbing experience.
