The Clinical Assistant Nurse Manager (CANM) plays a pivotal role in leading shift operations within the Intermediate Critical Care Unit (ICCU) at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC). This position is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, enhancing the customer experience, and ensuring optimal patient flow.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and operational oversight for the 22-bed ICC unit.
- Manage basic hemodynamic monitoring, artificial airway, and ventilator management.
- Collaborate with hospital and medical staff to achieve department and hospital goals.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN) preferred.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Certification in area of expertise preferred.
- May require additional certifications based on patient population, including:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse; experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
