Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate printing machinery to produce various printed materials, including periodicals and brochures.
- Assess job specifications to determine the requirements for each print project.
- Set up, align, and adjust equipment, including ink, rollers, and substrates.
- Review proof sheets to ensure print quality meets established standards.
- Modify press settings to achieve desired quality and specifications.
- Maintain an adequate supply inventory for printing operations.
- Diagnose and resolve basic mechanical issues with printing equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance on printing presses.
- Report any equipment or material issues to the supervisor.
- Compile and submit daily production reports.
- Keep the printing area organized and clean.
- Perform additional related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
- Proficient in operating or willing to learn various printing presses and associated software.
- Strong ability to follow directions and guidelines.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Vocational or technical training is preferred; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be physically capable of operating printing machinery.
- Frequent bending or kneeling is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is necessary.
