Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting healthy outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety: Ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications, adhering to regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
  • Pharmacy Professional Practice: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans, promoting optimal health outcomes.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process changes to enhance patient care.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Personnel Management: Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of medications and supplies to meet patient needs.
  • Financial Profitability: Contribute to the financial success of the pharmacy, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve revenue.
  • Loss Prevention: Implement measures to prevent loss and minimize waste, ensuring the integrity of the pharmacy's operations.
  • Workflow Management: Optimize workflow processes, streamlining operations to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Active Pharmacy License: Possess an active pharmacy license in the state where employed.
  • Immunization Certification: Hold immunization certification through an accredited organization.
  • No Pending Felony Charges: Not have any pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Possess a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
