Key Responsibilities- Evaluation and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans to address patients' speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Quality Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including evaluation, treatment, and documentation, in accordance with company guidelines and professional standards.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including short-term and long-term goals, in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge summaries.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with occupational therapists, physical therapists, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- License: Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of practice.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting.
- Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
