Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans to address patients' speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Quality Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including evaluation, treatment, and documentation, in accordance with company guidelines and professional standards.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including short-term and long-term goals, in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge summaries.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with occupational therapists, physical therapists, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • License: Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of practice.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting.
  • Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
