Job Title: Surgical Registered Nurse - PRN

Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine (ACRM) is seeking a skilled Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team. As a leading center for reproductive medicine, we provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing advanced reproductive technologies, including in-vitro fertilization (IVF), pre-genetic diagnosis (PGD), and egg recipiency.

Job Summary:

The Surgical Registered Nurse will provide individualized nursing care to surgical patients, working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy. This is a full-time position with rotating weekend/holiday shifts approximately once a month.

Responsibilities:
  • Pre-op: Review patient charts, complete necessary consent forms, and perform pre-op teaching.
  • Surgical Scrub: Assist with proper patient positioning, maintain sterile technique, and collect and handle specimens.
  • Recovery Room: Monitor patient status, administer medications and fluids, and complete paper charts and EMR entries.
  • Circulator: Assist with OR flow, provide additional supplies and equipment, and maintain a clean environment.
Requirements:
  • Active Registered Nurse license
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively operate the EMR and other computer programs
  • Ability to learn the IVF process and provide necessary care for IVF patients
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate skill level in MS Office products
