Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to lead functional and automated testing of our in-house warehouse design and simulation tool.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide the QA team to validate a complex, distributed, multi-threaded, multiprocessor system end-to-end, ensuring quality in mission-critical product releases to multiple production sites.
  • Create strategies and tests new product features in addition to executing regression of existing features.
  • Work with development teams to develop test plans, test suites, and test cases to ensure that software stack is thoroughly verified and validated through manual and automated methods.
  • Submit, track, and verify defects through the software development lifecycle.
  • Write documents, tests, scripts, and tools to help facilitate testing.
  • Participate in Agile/SCRUM exercises such as standup, grooming, planning, and retrospective, to ensure the team is working effectively and managing its work.
  • Travel up to 10% to customer sites to provide engineering support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required (computer science or related is preferred) and 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in guiding QA team members.
  • Strong knowledge of Test Framework design practices, understanding of the implementation of the testing framework from scratch.
  • Ability to evaluate and develop code to assist in test execution and automating tests, with C#.
  • Test automation framework experience with Selenium.
  • Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and experience with testing web-based applications, databases and APIs.
  • Experience with developing test plans and strategies for functional and automation tests.
  • Experience implementing automation tests using Selenium.
  • Experience evaluating software and products and delivering effective test plans, test suites, and test cases.
  • Defect tracking and test case management experience using tools such as Jira and TestRail.
