Athletic Trainer Services for JAG PT Outreach Contracts

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Athletic Trainer to provide specialized services for athletes affiliated with our outreach contracts. As a member of the JAG Physical Therapy team, you will be responsible for ensuring safe practices during events, managing injury assessments, treatment, and rehabilitation.

• Establish and maintain effective athletic training programs for contracted organizations
• Provide athletic trainer services for athletic events and competitions
• Conduct first aid and injury assessment/treatment/rehabilitation/reconditioning for athletes
• Document injuries and illnesses in accordance with JAG PT policies and state licensure standards
• Create safe playing environments by monitoring and controlling environmental risks
• Develop and implement health and fitness education programs for local schools, coaches, athletes, and communities
• Act as workers compensation case manager for professional contracted teams, submitting insurance information and tracking compensation claims within HIPPA/FERPA guidelines
• Collaborate with other JAG PT professionals in programs such as Physical Therapy and physician-related services

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Athletic Training from a CAATE-approved program
• BOC certification and maintenance of 50 CEUs every two years
• Licensure as an Athletic Trainer in the state of practice
• Department of Education clearance (if working in secondary schools)
• Current BLS certification
• Maintain Personal Liability Insurance

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
