Summary
Glaz-Tech Industries is in search of a meticulous and experienced glass production specialist to enhance our manufacturing capabilities and produce high-quality glass products. The role involves working with flat glass sheets and operating various fabrication machinery, including polishing equipment. The finished glass products serve multiple purposes, such as shower enclosures, tabletops, and mirrors. The glass production specialist will utilize an array of tools, machinery, and safety equipment to ensure that all products meet safety standards and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Polish and finish glass items using diverse tools and methods.
- Manage and organize glass sheets on machinery, storage areas, or transport carts.
- Fabricate glass sheets according to client specifications and/or technical drawings.
- Operate and maintain glass fabrication machinery, including polishing units.
- Examine glass products for imperfections and ensure accurate dimensions.
Requirements:
- Capability to lift over 50 pounds regularly.
- Proficient in reading a tape measure to 1/8" increments.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours daily.
- Basic computer skills.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
