Soliant Health is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in a school district near Lancaster, SC.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated professional to provide individualized occupational therapy services to a caseload of 37 students, primarily at the elementary level. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and experience working with elementary school students.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide individualized occupational therapy services to a caseload of 37 students.
- Supervise and collaborate with Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs).
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to create supportive learning environments.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of student progress and services provided.
- Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to students' educational plans.
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in South Carolina.
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
