About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer to join our team at Arundel Machine. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient and reliable CNC programs for new and legacy parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement CNC programs for new and legacy parts
  • Create 3D models and manufacturing drawings for custom tooling, work holding, and fixtures using SolidWorks or similar
  • Program parts and fixtures using CAM software such as GibbsCAM, Fusion360, etc.
  • Use machine simulation software to ensure collision-free code
  • Aid in quoting new work, including design for manufacturability feedback to customers
  • Set up and run CNC mills and lathes as needed to support new product introduction and continuous improvement efforts
  • Communicate and resolve issues with machinists
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement ideas on new and legacy parts
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1-year CNC programming experience or 3 years CNC experience combined with excellent computer skills
  • Experience in medical device manufacturing is preferred
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and complex inspection techniques
  • Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
