About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst Lead to join our team at Entergy. As a senior member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and submission of our SEC financial statements and other regulatory filings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of analysts in the preparation of SEC financial statements and other regulatory filings

  • Performing research on accounting and SEC reporting issues to ensure compliance with US GAAP

  • Developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity

  • Assisting in the preparation of quarterly financial presentations and analysis

  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of financial transactions and activities

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in external financial reporting, including leadership experience

  • Strong analytical skills and technical knowledge of accounting

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
