We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to provide exceptional care in a Hospital Medicine setting focused on Inpatient Rehabilitation.
Key Criteria:
- Specialty: Hospital Medicine for Inpatient Rehabilitation
- Candidate Type: NP/PA; preference for candidates with Hospital Medicine CAQ
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in inpatient medicine
- Visas: No J1 or H1
- Employment Type: W2 (No 1099)
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Compensation: $140K Annually
Work Schedule:
7 on-7 off scheduling, providing coverage from 7 am to 7 pm (average onsite requirement is 7 am to 3 pm, based on patient volume).
Support:
Virtual Scribe provided to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Valid state licensure and certification.
- Proven clinical experience as an Advanced Practice Provider, ideally in a primary care or specialty environment.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills to develop effective treatment plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities.
- Commitment to patient-centered care with a focus on compassion and respect.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying current with medical advancements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage an average daily rehabilitation census of 25 patients.
- Utilize time management and proactive communication for optimal patient care.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic conditions within the scope of practice.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families on disease management and preventive care.
