Financial Planning Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform in-depth analysis of the METOC portfolio in the Navy Comptroller's Program Budget Information System (PBIS) and the Resource Sponsor's Allocation Program System (RAPS).
  • Develop and present reports and recommendations for Commander Navy Meteorology and Oceanography Command (CNMOC) leadership.
  • Conduct research and analysis of programs, budgets, and schedules to meet requirements for assigned portions of a program or programs.
  • Design and implement fiscal operating policies and procedures.
  • Define and develop key performance indicators and analyze financial and operational performance.
  • Assemble spreadsheets and create charts and graphs to illustrate technical reports.
  • Coordinate and resolve financial compliance issues with governmental agencies.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with a BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with a MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with a PhD.
  • Secret Clearance required.
  • Experience in analysis of programs in Navy Comptroller's Program Budget Information System (PBIS) and the Resource Sponsor's Allocation Program System (RAPS) is essential.
  • Thorough knowledge of CNMOC IT programs, including POPS, OIS, and MOM-IT.

Compensation Package

The typical salary range for this position is $80,000 - $128,000, based on experience and other factors.
