Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

About the Role:
Glendive Medical Center is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients breathe easy, whether they are babies or adults. You will work closely with our healthcare team to provide inpatient therapy, diagnostic services, and outpatient testing, including Holter/event monitors, EKGs, stress testing, and pulmonary function tests. You will also provide hands-on education to patients to help them use their inhalers and manage medications effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide inpatient therapy to patients with chronic lung conditions, such as asthma, emphysema, and acute conditions like bronchitis and pneumonia.
  • Perform diagnostic services and outpatient testing, including Holter/event monitors, EKGs, stress testing, and pulmonary function tests.
  • Offer hands-on education to patients to help them use their inhalers and manage medications effectively.
  • Work closely with our healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Requirements:
  • Satisfactory completion of a respiratory therapist program from a nationally accredited respiratory therapy school.
  • The ability to meet NBRT registry requirements.

Work Schedule:
3 days a week, 12-hour days with rotating call and occasional weekend.

State License Details:
Must be currently active.

Minimum Years of Experience:
Less than 1 year.

Minimum Guaranteed Hours:
36.
