About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Driver to join our team at CEVA Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting cargo to and from various destinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a GVW capacity truck to transport cargo to and from customer locations, airline, and trucking terminals.
  • Ensure compliance with State and Federal DOT regulations and Transportation Security Administration requirements.
  • Act as a messenger for the company and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Load and unload freight using a forklift and pallet jack, and secure cargo to prevent damage or tampering.
  • Oversee the reporting of any irregularities related to cargo pick-up and delivery.
  • Maintain radio contact with dispatch office and report delays due to weather conditions, breakdowns, or emergencies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum one year related experience; or minimum 5 years industry driving experience may be substituted for a high school diploma or GED.
  • Valid state-issued Class C Driver's License.
  • Acceptable driving record as defined by DOT regulations, TSA regulations, and Company policy.
  • Forklift Driver Certification and DOT Dangerous Goods and Hazardous Materials Certification.
