- Design and develop both proprietary & commercial tools to analyze and solve design & engineering problems.
- Work hands-on on the development, testing and evaluation of prototypes and final products and systems.
- Lead projects, or sub-projects, including timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate activities with outside suppliers and consultants.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams and participate in brainstorming and design reviews.
- Evaluate and make recommendations on cost control, reliability and manufacturability issues.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2-5 years of experience with product/component design.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD modeling software and data management tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
This role requires:
- Light lifting (20-25 lbs.)
- Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend and move about the facility
