Job Summary

B & B Medical Services is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing ventilator education, initial setup, and monthly ventilator checks to patients. You will also provide education on prescribed respiratory equipment and other safety education as needed to ensure compliance with prescribed therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage material requirements to provide complete deliveries to patients.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards for TJC, cost control, quality patient care, safety, and complete on-time delivery.
  • Comply with state and federal regulations and licensure.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment.
  • Communicate clearly and directly with veterans, co-workers, and management.
Requirements
  • Maintain a valid Driver's License.
  • Valid Respiratory License to practice Respiratory Care in the state where employed.
  • Certification as either Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
  • State licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting.
  • Strong knowledge of respiratory physiology and airway management techniques.
  • Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent.
  • Home ventilator experience preferred.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a salary of $31.00 per hour. The expected hours are 40 per week. The job type is a 8 hour shift in a home health setting.
