Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider

DispatchHealth is seeking a highly skilled Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in Dallas, TX. As a key member of our Advanced Care team, you will provide hospital-level care to patients in their homes, leveraging your progressive clinical skills to deliver high-quality care in a novel care model.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct, hospital-level, and post-acute level internal medicine care to patients in their homes, including performing clinical assessments, developing, and ordering hospital-level and post-acute level internal medicine clinical workups.
- Creation and implementation of multidisciplinary plan of care for patients on Advanced Care, Extended Care, and Bridge Care service lines.
- Provide overnight call coverage as assigned and in collaboration with the Advanced Care clinical team.
- Foster strong and longitudinal relationships with DispatchHealth Advanced Care and Acute Care APPs, including education and engagement around Advanced Care program services.
- Participate in program enhancement for Advanced Care, Extended Care, and Bridge Care service lines.
- Continuously enhance the Advanced Care commitment to quality, safety, and experience.
- Graduate with an advanced degree from an accredited institution.
- 2-3 years or hospitalist or hospitalist equivalent experience.
- Current unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate.
- Nationally board certified, current.
- Current BLS / ACLS certification.
- Prescriptive authority and DEA.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily while carrying equipment.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Ability to work a varied schedule with evenings, holidays, and weekends required.
