Job Title: Senior Civil Project Engineer

Martin/Martin Consulting Engineers is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Project Engineer to join our team in Lakewood, CO. As a key member of our civil engineering team, you will be responsible for managing multiple engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in master planning and conceptual design
  • Assist in fee determination and proposal preparation
  • Monitor design budgets and project schedules
  • Serve as point-of-contact with clients, contractors, and other design disciplines
  • Manage multiple engineering projects from start to finish
  • Manage and mentor a team of civil engineers and CAD technicians
  • Utilize AutoCAD/Civil3D to design, detail, and coordinate medium to large size projects
  • Attend project meetings during design and construction
  • Provide quality-control check of work produced
  • Provide project construction administration support
  • Monitor project budgets and reviews and/or approves invoicing to clients
  • Participate in collection and account receivable efforts
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in site development
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently for extended periods
  • Strong written, technical, and interpersonal skills
  • Committed to client services and a team-based approach
  • Attention to detail, delivering quality work products, and excellent client services
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of clients, regulators, and authorities
  • Proven marketing/business development skills
  • PE license in the State of Colorado or ability to obtain one within three months
