Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Cardiovascular Laboratory Technician, you will collaborate with physicians and other lab personnel to prepare the laboratory for procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the setup and maintenance of the Cath Lab.
  • Monitoring and interpreting cardiac pressure readings and thermodynamic parameters.
  • Conducting cardiac thermodynamic calculations and reporting any irregularities to the physician.
  • Updating procedural logs promptly after each case.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you will need:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of starting.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of starting.
  • A degree from a vocational school.
  • Certification as a Registered Radiographer (ARRT), Certified Cardiographic Technologist, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist.
