Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Athletic Trainer to join our team at South El Monte High School. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing athletic training services to student-athletes, including injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in athletic training, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with students, coaches, and other staff members.

Responsibilities
  • Provide athletic training services to student-athletes, including injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation
  • Develop and implement injury prevention programs for student-athletes
  • Collaborate with coaches and other staff members to ensure a safe and healthy athletic environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders regarding athletic training services and student-athlete health
  • Maintain accurate records of student-athlete injuries and treatment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in physical education, athletic training, health, or a related field
  • Valid National Athletic Trainers Association Certification
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Valid California Class C Driver's License and auto insurance coverage
  • Availability to work non-traditional work hours to support student-athletes
