Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our heating and cooling service department. The successful candidate will have a strong background in HVAC service, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the daily operations of our heating and cooling service department
  • Successfully schedule, direct, and provide technical support for HVAC technicians
  • Communicate efficiently with dispatch and other management to meet departmental goals and objectives
  • Recruit, train, and inspire HVAC technicians to take pride in their work
  • Supervise technicians as they complete equipment repairs, installations, and start-ups
  • Review work orders, invoices, and time reports for accuracy to ensure timely cash flow and minimal account receivables
  • Oversee, maintain, and monitor assigned service vehicles to ensure they are operating properly
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 10+ years of HVAC service experience
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • EPA certification
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Knowledge and understanding of local codes, heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems
  • Able to read, interpret, utilize, and train on manuals, schematics, and control circuits
