As a RN in this role, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Department Overview:

The Emergency Department at Mercy Hospital Washington is a 26-bed unit that provides 24/7 care to our community. Our team is highly motivated, hardworking, and dedicated to delivering excellent patient care. As a RN in this role, you will have the opportunity to care for a wide range of illnesses and injuries, and work collaboratively with our patient care technicians, paramedics, and patient support associates to provide comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Emergency Department
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality patient outcomes
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
  • Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
