We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Clinician to join our Infectious Disease Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
**Job Summary:**
The successful candidate will practice infectious diseases within the setting of a major cancer center with a special emphasis on infectious complications associated with the diagnosis of cancer, the use of cancer therapies, including chemotherapy, targeted biological therapies, cellular therapies, and immunotherapies.
**Responsibilities:**
Clinically evaluate and manage patients with a wide range of infectious syndromes and mimics on the inpatient and outpatient clinical service.
In the outpatient clinical setting, manage and prevent infectious syndromes related to cancer and oncologic treatments.
Contribute to the teaching and research missions, including supervising Infectious Disease fellows, medical residents, medical students, and advance practice providers.
Participate in educational activities.
Serve on institutional and service committees.
**Requirements Include:**
MD., D.O., or equivalent with excellent clinical, communication and team skills.
Board eligible or board certified in Infectious Diseases.
New York and New Jersey State license eligible.
Certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Child Abuse Identification & Reporting.
**Salary:**
$140,000 - $590,000.
Physician compensation is based on multiple variables.
This range represents annual salary only and does not include supplemental performance-based pay or any one-time payments that eligible candidates may be offered at the time of hire.
