VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing (RN) to lead our nursing team in a correctional healthcare setting. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to nursing staff
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective patient care
- Collaborate with site leadership and clients to meet contractual requirements and achieve operational and clinical performance targets
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and develop action plans to address areas for improvement
- Recruit, train, and develop nursing staff to ensure a skilled and competent team
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a Bachelor or Master's degree in nursing
- Licensed to practice nursing in the state with board certification or board eligibility in medicine
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred
- Previous clinical operations management experience and direct management experience in a correctional health setting are desired
