Caregiver Specialist

Bridgewell is a leading provider of social and human services, empowering individuals with disabilities and life challenges to live safe, self-directed lives. Our innovative approach includes community housing, day programs, outpatient treatment, recovery services, education, and employment training.

We are seeking a qualified Direct Support Professional 2 to support and assist individuals in Level 2 residential programs. The successful candidate will provide daily intervention, supervision, and skills training in activities of daily living while managing within a home environment and in the community.

1. Skills Training: Provide support and assistance to individuals with skills training in all activities of daily living, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
2. Decision-Making: Create opportunities for individuals to make decisions and develop their skills, fostering independence and self-reliance.
3. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that services are provided according to DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF, and all applicable regulatory standards, as well as Bridgewell policies and procedures.
4. Medical Support: Provide support and assistance with medical, clinical, and financial needs, including administering medications according to MAP regulations.

1. A high school diploma or GED is required; Associates or DSP Certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities is preferred.
3. A valid driver's license and one year of driving experience are required.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on location and experience.
