Cellar Technician

We are seeking a skilled Cellar Technician to join our winemaking team at E. & J. Gallo. As a Cellar Technician, you will be responsible for the care, maintenance, and sanitation of equipment and facilities, adhering to safety procedures, and supporting quality and GMP standards.

• Operate grape receiving and cleaning equipment
• Perform tank washing and sanitation
• Enter work orders into WineManager and AMS
• Ensure all tasks, such as additions, racks, transfers, chills, and lower DO operations, are completed according to work orders
• Engage in general wine production functions, such as racking red and white juice, supporting fermentation, and performing sanitation tasks

• High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate
• 6 months of wine production experience
• Ability to repetitively lift and uncase glass cases as needed
• Ability to lift, roll and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work any assigned shift (day, swing, graveyard, 5x8, 4x10); ability to work weekends and overtime when necessary
• Ability to wear a respirator when necessary
