Job Description

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers, evaluating performance, providing technical support, hiring, and professional development. You will also play a key role in New Product Development, supporting the NPD team and allocating plant resources to support NPD efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead team of Manufacturing Engineers, including evaluation of performance, technical support, hiring, and professional development
  • Play role in New Product Development, supporting NPD team and allocating plant resources to support NPD efforts
  • Identify opportunities for capital expenditures, including cost justification, and spearhead capital expenditure projects
  • Lead projects to optimize existing manufacturing processes - Kaizens, 5S, SMED etc
  • Identify areas to implement automation where possible, and oversee implementation
  • Stay up to date on current trends in manufacturing to identify areas to improve procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years' experience minimum in an industrial manufacturing setting
  • 5+ years' minimum experience in a managerial capacity in a regulated industry
  • Track record driving LEAN/CI initiatives with demonstrated results
  • Experience in metal fabrication desired
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/other 3D modeling software
  • Experience leading CapEx projects
  • Excellent written, verbal, & interpersonal skills
What's on Offer

Our client offers a competitive salary range of $125,000 - $150,000 depending on level of experience, as well as a 15% bonus target based on blend of personal/departmental targets. Additional benefits include 3 weeks PTO + 1 week personal time, 3% 401k match, and healthcare through BCBS.
