Duties and Responsibilities

  • Patient Transfer: You will be responsible for performing patient transfers on and off transport equipment, ensuring that patients are safely moved to their desired destinations.">
  • Equipment Management: You will retrieve and deliver equipment, patient transporting aids, and supplies as needed.">
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: You will perform cleaning tasks using OSHA standards and maintain equipment according to department standards.">
  • Computer Skills: You will demonstrate computer skills necessary to perform department-specific responsibilities.">
  • Communication: You will communicate effectively with patients, family members, and staff to ensure seamless coordination of care.">

Requirements

To be successful as a Patient Mover Specialist at Lancaster General Health, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED)">
  • CPR Certification required">
  • The ability to continually prioritize work responsibilities">
