In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments related to substance use and formulating and executing tailored service plans.

The compensation for this position ranges from $26 to $28 per hour. The specific salary offered to the selected candidate may differ from the stated range based on factors such as geographic location, professional experience, educational background, and skill set. Information regarding potential bonus compensation will be discussed during the offer process. This position is structured as a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, allowing you to access company benefits, paid time off, and additional perks upon transition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial and annual assessments related to substance use.
  • Work collaboratively with clients and team members to create comprehensive service plans and make necessary adjustments, including establishing mutually agreed upon long-term and short-term goals related to substance use.
  • Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions focused on substance use.
  • Provide advocacy and referrals to community-based programs as required.
  • Ensure timely documentation of all services rendered as mandated.
  • Engage in training sessions, workshops, seminars, and case conferences as needed.
  • Coordinate arrangements for inpatient treatment for substance use.
  • Educate clients and staff on harm reduction strategies.
  • Carry out any additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related discipline.
  • Possession of a valid CASAC or CASAC-T certification.
  • Experience working with individuals affected by HIV/AIDS, chronic mental health issues, and/or substance dependence, along with their families, is advantageous.
