Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Mount Carmel Health. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patient care needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by our medical team, ensuring the highest level of patient safety.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, including communication with families and other healthcare providers.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and wellness throughout the care process.
- Document patient care and outcomes accurately and thoroughly, using our electronic medical record system.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Basic computer skills, with experience using electronic medical record systems preferred.
