About the Role

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a skilled Mental Health professional to join our team at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts.

This is an ongoing opportunity to provide high-quality care to patients in need. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work under the direction of the R.N. to lead and co-lead groups, ensuring safe and effective patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and co-lead groups to support patient care and well-being
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, visitors, co-workers, physicians, and other employees
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care
  • Participate in onboarding and training to ensure a smooth transition
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
  • Previous experience in Mental Health Counseling or a related field
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
