Responsibilities:

• Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
• Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining the procedure and positioning them correctly
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
• Maintain accurate records of patient information, scan results, and other relevant data
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computed tomography technology and best practices

Requirements:

• A valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH
• Post-primary certification in computed tomography issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• At least 1 year of experience in a radiologic technology role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• BLS certification
• Fluency in English (read, write, speak)

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position with a guaranteed 37.5 hours per week and 61 contract weeks. The shift is 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, with weekends and holidays required. Interviews will be conducted in-person, but virtual interviews via Teams are also acceptable if necessary.
