Position Overview
Provider Solutions & Development is seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) specializing in Hematology/Oncology to enhance our dedicated team. This full-time role offers a structured Monday to Friday schedule, fostering a collaborative environment focused on patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient care exclusively, ensuring high-quality treatment for patients.
- Work alongside a collegial team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and support staff.
- Manage a patient load of 8-10 daily, with potential to increase as capacity grows.
- Engage in autonomous practice while collaborating effectively with medical assistants and nurse navigators.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Hematology/Oncology as an APP or a robust background as a registered nurse.
- Familiarity with bone marrow biopsies and aspirations is advantageous but not required.
