We are seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to join our team at Soliant. As a Sign Language Interpreter, you will work closely with a middle school student to provide effective communication and support throughout the school day.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality interpretation services to ensure equal access to education for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized communication plans
  • Conduct assessments to identify students' communication needs and develop strategies to meet those needs
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices and technologies in sign language interpretation
Requirements
  • 4.0 EIPA or RID certification required
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Sign Language Interpreter
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
