We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team at St Joseph Medical Center. As a Tele Float Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will have at least 2 years of acute care experience and be able to titrate drips. They will also be required to float to cover the needs of the entire Med Surg division, which includes 6 different units with different specialties. The candidate will work 12-hour shifts, full-time, with every other weekend and will be required to work holidays.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in a Tele Float position
- Titrate drips as needed
- Float to cover the needs of the entire Med Surg division
- Work 12-hour shifts, full-time, with every other weekend
- Work holidays as required
- At least 2 years of acute care experience
- Ability to titrate drips
- Ability to float to cover the needs of the entire Med Surg division
The Med Surg division consists of 6 different units, each with its own unique specialty. The units include:
- 7th Floor - Surgical unit, abdominal surgeries, trauma, Whipple
- 8BC - long term low acuity unit, patients waiting for placement, on long term antibiotic therapy
- 9th Floor - general medical cases, chronic and acute
- 2 south - short stay, cardiac, COVID unit
- 3 south - Neuro unit
- 4 South - ortho and spine unit
- BLS and COVID vaccine required
- Unit/Department specific orientation will be provided
As a Travel Nurse RN at St Joseph Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care to a diverse patient population.
