Family Medicine Physician Assistant

As a key player in our healthcare team, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality medical care and support to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
As a Family Medicine Physician Assistant, your duties will include:
- Providing expert consultation and guidance to patients and their families regarding treatment options and medical care.
- Conducting thorough examinations and performing initial assessments to determine the appropriate course of action for patient care.
- Ordering necessary laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures to facilitate comprehensive patient evaluations.
- Prescribing treatments for a diverse range of medical conditions, injuries, and disorders.
- Delivering emergency services and crisis interventions in the absence of a supervising physician.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- A minimum of one year of experience as a certified physician assistant in a Family Medicine environment.
- Graduation from an accredited physician assistant educational program recognized by the appropriate accrediting bodies.
- Successful completion of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) examination, with ongoing certification and continuing medical education (CME) requirements fulfilled.
- Licensure as a Physician Assistant by the appropriate state or territorial licensing authority.
